|National Weather Service Central Region
Need a weather forecast or want to check the latest radar images? This site contains the links to all of the NWS offices in the Central Region and links to all other NWS websites. The NWS Central Region includes all of the states covered by the MRCC except Ohio, which in the NWS Eastern Region.
|NOAA NWS Storm Prediction Center
The SPC monitors weather conditions around the country and issues timely and accurate forecasts and watches for severe thunderstorms and tornadoes over the contiguous United States. The SPC also monitors heavy rain, heavy snow, and fire weather events across the U.S. and issues specific products for those hazards. In addition to the outlooks and forecasts, the SPC site also contains an archive of storm reports and some very nice photographs of severe weather.

The WPC is “America’s go-to center for high-impact precipitation events and forecast guidance out to 14 days”. The product suite includes quantitative precipitation forecasts, short- and medium-range forecast graphics and discussions, winter weather products, surface analyses and more.

This site provides weather data for the aviation community. Charts of surface weather, turbulence, icing, and other aviation-related information are available.

|NCAR Real-Time Weather Data
An excellent site to view surface maps, satellite images, current radar images, upper air charts and soundings, and forecast maps.
This is a good source of graphical weather information produced using the popular WXP analysis software. The site includes surface analyses, upper air charts and soundings, and graphical model forecasts.
|College of DuPage NeXt Generation Weather Lab
The College of DuPage proclaims it has "the most comprehensive community college meteorology program in the country". If severe weather or storm chasing is your thing, then this site should be on your bookmark list. Model analysis, radar images, satellite photos, and regional weather data are all available.
|University of Wisconsin Space Science and Engineering Center
The SSEC distributes real-time and archive weather satellite data including images and derived products. The site also features animations of significant storms and events.
|WW2010 – the Weather World 2010 Project
This web site produced by the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Illinois integrates current and archived weather data with multimedia instructional resources. In addition to maps of current weather there are online guides to meteorology, reading and interpreting weather maps, and remote sensing.
