Climatologist, Applications Programmer
Jonathan joined the MRCC in June of 2017 as a Climatologist/Applications Programmer.
His career in atmospheric science started in 2012 when he began work on his Bachelor of Science in Geosciences from Mississippi State University. Following completion of his bachelor’s degree, he continued his education with a master’s degree from the same department where he researched the use of artificial intelligence with tropical cyclone-induced tornadoes.
His time at the MRCC first began in the summer of 2016 as a programming intern. Following the completion of his master’s degree in May of 2017, he returned to the MRCC as a full-time employee.
Jonathan currently serves as a climatologist and applications programmer with the primary responsibility of developing new climatological products and aiding in research projects.
