VERONICA FALL
Climate Extension Specialist

Veronica joined the MRCC in August of 2018 as the Climate Extension Specialist.  She also works for Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant. 

Following the completion of her Bachelor’s degree in meteorology from Valparaiso University, Veronica started working on her Master’s at the University of Oklahoma.  Her thesis topic focused on the 2011-2016 drought in California.  She then completed a Professional Science Master’s degree in Climate Change and Society at North Carolina State University where she worked on several projects at the state climate office.  

Veronica currently produces the Quarterly Climate Impacts and Outlook report for the Great Lakes region as well as other projects with various stakeholders who are interested in climate science-based communication
